Who we are
Jamiat North Lahore is a regional chapter of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan (IJT), committed to developing students with Islamic values, academic excellence, moral character, and leadership skills. We work in educational institutions across North Lahore to prepare students who can positively contribute to society and the nation.
Mission
To seek the pleasure of Allah by developing students who possess strong faith, excellent character, academic competence, and leadership qualities, enabling them to serve Islam, Pakistan, and humanity.
Vision
To build a generation of knowledgeable, responsible, and morally upright students who lead with wisdom, uphold Islamic values, and contribute to the establishment of a just and prosperous society.

History
From 25 students in Lahore to a nationwide movement — and a North Lahore chapter thousands strong.
- 1947
Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan founded
Established on 23 December 1947 in Lahore by a group of 25 students, with the vision of building an Islamic society based on the Qur'an and Sunnah.
- 1970s
North Lahore chapter established
As IJT grew into one of Pakistan's largest student organizations, a dedicated chapter took root across North Lahore's schools and colleges.
- 1990s
Zonal structure introduced
The region was organised into zones and neighbourhood halqahs, bringing weekly study circles closer to where students actually live.
- 2010s
Talent Fiesta becomes an annual flagship
What began as a small inter-institution showcase grew into the region's largest annual student event, now drawing 40+ institutions.
- 2020s
Six zones, eighteen halqahs, and growing
Today the chapter serves over a thousand active members through six zones, dozens of programs a year, and a departments-led structure covering media, dawah, taleem, tarbiyat, finance and sports.
